We are thrilled to finally unveil the highly anticipated One Night Under The Heavenly Dancers print series, celebrating two breathtaking photographs of the Northern Lights over Pittodrie Stadium. These stunning images were captured on the 41st anniversary of Aberdeen's historic victory over Real Madrid, May 11th.
Captured by Glen Cairns
Glen Cairns, Videographer for Glen Cairns Video Productions, is also known for his drone photography around Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. During his time as a Videographer at Aberdeen Football Club, he would also take stunning images of Pittodrie, which led the drone pilot to presenting two of his images to Sir Alex Ferguson during his visit for the statue unveiling on February 2022.
Glen shares, “It was a running joke at Aberdeen Football Club that the only picture left to take was the Northern Lights over Pittodrie. I still can’t believe I captured it on May 11th, the timing is just unbelievable, someone was definitely looking down on me that night. These photos were too special to release casually; they deserved a proper showcase.”

Additionally, a limited batch will be available for purchase at Charles Michie's Pharmacy, Union Street on Saturday, October 12th between 11am - 2pm with an opportunity to meet and greet Glen Cairns in person during this exclusive event.
